Because we as a nation and world are dying a slow death.
We are dying in front of one another.
The MAN has held us down for too long, has made too much money, and hasn't embraced evolution of humanity - just evolution of his pocketbook.
So let's do this. Band together. Even if you are a staunch Republican, do it. You need to. Your parents need you to (Social Security protection). Your neighbors do (protection of health and human services and basic municipality support like having sufficient cops for each beat). I do (I will lose my mind if we continue to nation-build nations that don't directly make us safer, healthier or richer as a nation of all.
